burning smell

Default burning smell
hi have noticed a burning smell when i first start my bike.
any ideas?

Do you ride in the rain? I ride all year allot in the rain, after the header gets road grime
on it I can smell it burning off some times.

i did recently ride in really bad rain and have replaced the headers with a new stainless steel set.
couldnt be the gearbox clutch or engine?
