brand new battery dead?

what about if you get a brand spankin new battery put it in the bike, start the bike, let it idle, shut the bike off and put it away for 2 months? would that permenatly damage the battery? since it never got a chance to cycle on a drive?
for right now im def leaning toward a new battery (again) and a new onboard battery tender

Yes. When I said drain the battery, I mean suck every millivolt out of it. If you caught it while there was still some charge in it, you might have been able to save it. But that battery is toast.
Don't mention that you left it like that when you go to take back the battery
edit: and don't waste your money buying a new tender. Pretty sure the .9 amp charge is for a slow charge. Most batteries have a much higher quick charge tolerance. Until you know something is wrong with the tender, why replace it? You know the battery is fooked
