I changed the gas tank just recently ... the brake lights work fine its just the running lights...I was hoping it was going to be a simple fix so i replaced all the fuses but still nothing... I also noticed that when i press the front brake the brake lights won't show but when i press the rear it lights up... could it somehow be connected..?

 

Id say it would have to be connected. Id be checking the harnesses near the gas tank under the left side fairing. Maybe you caught something when you were pulling it off. Thats a maybe, or could be something completely different. Maybe your bulbs are burnt out? Very possible running lights are on all the time.. Low chance, but I have seen both go out at once.
