brake calipers question
well today i was checking the brake calipers. Is it normal that one of my piston moves out further than the other?? and another thing is i screwed up by applying brake too much to check and one of my piston poped out
i heard that usually u replace your piston seal when u rebuild caliper or when you remove the seal for any reason. Since my piston poped out is it alright to just.... push it back in? or i should just dissasemble it and rebuild it and get a new piston seal...
thanks

it popped out mang?
just rebuild it...lots of little seals, etc...i rebuilt mine like 6 months ago...works great...
pistons stick when there's gunk built up around it...that's why you should bleed every six months or yearly depending on how much you ride.
you have air in the system now, at the very least you'll need to rebleed the brakes to get the air out.
if you don't get new seals, keep an eye on that piston for weaping brake fluid. if it doesn't leak with lots of brake pressure, you should be ok.
