not AS much but still every now and than. i pulled my front fairing off and noticed in my main grey harness there was some water stored from the recent storm that the bike was exposed to for about 4 minutes. got it kinda waterlogged but nothing TOO crazy. thought it was maybe my bank angle sensor, so i bypassed it completely, and its STILL doing it. loose connection somewhere but i dont really know where it might be. unless my fuel injectors are starting to act up. maybe they're clogged....has anyone else had this problem? also want to ad it doesn't do it over every bump anymore. only over some but not really anymore...

Hey man..

I hope its not too late, but I have this issue as well.

I just took my bike in for a full service. New oil, tires, chain/sprockets, valves adjusted, everything. It is a 2005 cbr 600 f4i has 26k miles.

I took it back to school and rode it 100 miles no problem. Then the second trip was about 90 miles, and your problem happened once. On the third trip, it happened about 3 times.

Finally after the 4th trip, about 250 miles after the service, it is nearly unridable. Basically when going a constant 60mph+ it operates normally. But downshifting even from 60 -> 40, it will be like someone flipped the engine stop switch off and on really quickly. The engine cuts out and bucks me then goes back on again (if I am at a high enough speed). And when I come to a stop I can forget it. It cuts almost immediately, even if I clutch in and try to hold the RPM's at like 5-9k, it will cut out and die. Takes me 4 or 5 tries to start it and then will die again seconds afterwards.

That last ride I took my girlfriend out for the first time and she was kind of dissappointed lol. Did you find a fix yet? I have no idea!

Take it back to the shop and explain that since you've been there the bike has not been running correctly.

how much you pay for all that work?

FI light means your ECU knows what's wrong. The codes will tell you where to start. Your service manual or google will tell you how troubleshoot.
