Whates the best cheap alarm?
No Doubt Lo-jack is GREAT but its also 545 + installing fees

I know scorpio is ok around 350ish
Anyone know?

i have a scorpio but i dont have it hooked up yet. i hear peopleon the site say the inter matrix offered by the site sponsor is good.

the battery in the remote for mine was bad and a clip on the wiringharness broke on my scorpie they replaced it all no questions asked. u can fine brand new ones cheaper on ebay i only paid 279 for mine

are they hard to install? does anyone that has an alarm still use a disc lock?

I have the Gorilla. It's ok but it 's big and takes up a lot of trunk space. I think I'm going to sell it and get a scorpio. But ya, I use a disk lock as well but only at work when the the bike sits for the day.

welli got every thing with mine so its plug and play. the only thing i have to wire my self is the dissabler.

are the disc locks good if your bike is sitting lets say at work?

I forgot to add the gorilla was 150 intalled by the dealer.

just get a good chainand lock that can be cut with bolt cutters..and lockthe chain through the frame to something that will not break or be moved..unless the theif has a portable plasma cutter your golden
