It probably isn't bent unless it went down pretty hard on that side. You can loosen them up and move it out for more room. It isn't hard at all. I did it on my left side , but that was after a lowside that had moved it a little. No biggie at all.

stock clip ons have this little tab on it...did yours break off? if you break it off you can get more room to rotate, otherwise, you have mm's to work with.

i took the entire front end apart last summer to change the fork seals. i'm not 100% sure but i think i had it turned so it wasas far forward as it would go. it's frustrating and not safe so i want to fix this before it gets warm out. there is literally no room for my hand with the bars turned to the left lock.

is there any way to adjust the height of the bars? i need a half an inch at least.

the bike has been down before but there isn't any abrasion marks noticable on the clip-on so id on't knwo if it hit there. i bought it really cheap off a scrub that had it down and got scared to ride again.

It takes about 5 minutes to remove the bolts for the clip on and upper triple. Once you re-seat and get the same results, then something is misaligned. Sometimes it's tough to hunt them down.
