Battery loses charge
#11
I had the same problem with my CBR F4I two months ago. I tested the battery after I charged it and when I rev the engine to 5,000 RPM the battery stayed at 12 Volts. I ended up replacing the stator and the regulator from http://www.electrosport.com, and it comes with a year warranty. They show ways to show what’s wrong with your charging system.

Go get the battery tested. If the rectifier/stator were shot then the bike would die as soon as the battery were dead. I just got done looking at the service manual and wiring diagrams, and all the symptoms you discribed could be caused by a bad battery.
If you have a meter then it is fairly easy to check all the parts that may be bad.
If you don't have one go get one for $25 at Lowes or the depot. Get you the service manual and start tracing leads till problem is solved. It really isn't hard, but can be intimidating.
I put in a electric push button shifter with zero problems thanks to the service manual and wiring diagrams
