Default Bar ends ~_~

My damn bar end fell out at some point today

I knew I should have put loctite on the stupid things at some point. The $10 to replace em doesn't bother me, but we all know how fast shipping isn't.

I've been riding w/o my right side one for awhile. Anyone know the purpose of it? The left one feels loose.

It's my understanding that they serve as sliders in the event of a fall and also act to harmonize the felt vibrations transmited to the handlebars.

Incognito: i think thats what there designed for, i just replaced mine with some styled ones and no difference in the ride quality.

But they do seem to just randomly fall out ! kinda weird .

There are weights in the handle and the barend combined are to help reduce vibration.

I can tell when one comes loose as it increaes the vibration. They sellafter market weights and ends that are heaviers and help.I read on here a while back about someone using fishing weights. Get some loctite and keep the barends tight.

usually it's only after they've been removed that they'll fall out

from the factory they have thread locker on them
