Default BAR ENDS

I had one of my bar ends come off while riding today and I'm wondering what type ends people are using and will they fit into the stock threads or do you have to modify the stock set up. I would like to find some in silver or a brushed look, just no chrome.

I believe that bar ends are very generic and universal. There are a gazillion manufacturers out there.

I purchased some at a local Honda shop and they would not fit they told me I had to change out the weights inside the handle bars. I would like to purchase some that will fit in the factory set up. Thinks for all the help and my new ones will be put on with locktight.

I bought some Lockhart Phillips bar ends for my '04 f4i and they went right on with out any problems. I unscrewed the stock ones and screwed the new ones on. They come in any color and type.
