arrested
I had a similar situation happen to me when in High school but, that was a long time ago. I had it thrown out of court because there was no way the officer could have identified me while wearing a helmet. I also was riding my bike that was registered in my
dad's name. that is what I think saved me. no way to prove who was actually riding the bike dad a friend or me. The cop actually pulled me over two days after the incedent. I would go to court and explain everything to the judge. Just don't try and lie to a judge plea your case being honest.

Yeah, plea not guilty and argue your case with facts and get them to prove beyond reasonable doubt that it was you. Pleaing not guily doesn't mean you didnt do it. Id go to court because that is a lot of tickets. If they didnt get your license plate number while commiting the act then youll get off for sure. And if they did get the plate number say it "might" have been your friend or relative riding the bike at the time.
The system is set up to take money out of your pockets, not put you in jail. As long as you pay a lawyer something, you will pay the courts less, and possibly much less insurance. You'll plea bargain all this stuff down, but it will still cost you a pile of money.
What you probably got arrested for is 'fleeing a police officer', I've had enough reckless, speeding, and careless tickets in the past to believe that, at least in Florida, you don't get automatically get arrested unless there are other circumstances, like immediate danger to the public. The other thing is that with 5 moving violations, you will tally up enough points to lose your license for at least 3 months. So you have to get a lawyer or risk have a restricted license.
Good luck with all of this and next time you do something stupid, ask yourself 'Will it make me money or get me laid?' If the answer is 'no' to both, DON'T DO IT!!

yo dude the cop is relying on the info you give him to have a case if you were wearing a helmet and he had no way of identifying you or that the bike legally belong to you (regisration) if none of that was checked then they have no way of proving it was you what they made the arrest on is called circumstantial evidence they assumed since every one knows you own a bike that it was you that day who is to say someone with the same bike did not pass thru . you have to come up with a solid alibi (you and a friend were across town or something) they cant prove nothing unless the have solid evidence it was you (a video of you on the bike showing your face eye witneses saying they saw your face or someone saw your plate and they traced thre bike to you) they have nothiung
ok so let me get this straight:
You got arrest 1 week after you did a wheelie in front of a cop, (reckless driving charge, possible driving to endanger and (exhibitionistic driving, that's what my state calls it))
anyway, have you had any other moving violations with your bike and/or car?
The cop can only presume that it was you on the bike if you were wearing a helmet, because he can not positively identify you, so he did an investigation in to your driving record. Hence the fact that he arrested you a week later. Remember cops don't have to arrest you right on the spot to charge you with something. As some else said you would need an alibi that you were somewhere else that day and time. That is the only way that your are going to get out of it.
Be careful the cop my have already talked to other people that were that were at the time you did the wheelie and they may have confirmed that it was you.
Best bet is to take you lick now and go on, because if you fight it too hard without being able to completely prove the cop worng, then you just might loose you license too.
All depends on how the judge feels that day.

cop wasnt in his car so he has no video support, he can only rely on witnesses but I don't think skool kids want to go to court and be on his side.
Just plead ur case saying he mistaken you for somebody else and you obey the law

or I would just go to court and say the front of my bike got pulled a few inches from the ground due to a small bump on the road which made my hand twist the throttle too much by accident.

2) you do not get arrested from wheeling.
well thats not true. wreckless driving means you go to jail in most states. it does not matter if he waited a week to come get ya too. every body thinks if your not stopped right away you can't get busted for it. not true. this is my field so i know. not alot to fight. once in court the judge is gonna believe a cop over a person with the ticket anyday, and i would not admitt anything on a public forum. it is real real real easy to trace down a person. ip address and all

I'm a citizen of the US, so I consider it "my field" as well.
take this from a person that has been to court for many issues.
First of all, what state are you in? different states resolve things differently. I'm in NJ, so it very well could be different if you're in a different state that i am in.
The fact that you said you pulled a wheelie for a LONG time, means you can't use an excuse as in too much throttle.
The fact that your friend saw the cop and YOU doing the wheelie, means you have no alibi because once they call out your friends or anyone at school, you're done. Noone will lie for you in court because its their a$$ and i know of noone that would do that besides family. And i don't care how good of a friend he/she is, its not going to fly.
If you go to court and have a trial, here in NJ, if you are found guilty, there is NO PLEA BARGAIN ANYMORE. they will NOT drop anything but punish you to the FULL extent. Meaning the most fines, most license away time and what not. What i have done was just plea not guilty, go to court. IT DOES NOT DEPEND ON THE MOOD OF THE JUDGE, IT IS THE PROSECUTOR!!!! The judge will bascially go with WHATEVER the prosecutor says, i have not heard ONE case where the judge disagreed with the prosecutor in traffic court.
Explain to the prosecutor very nicely that you were dumb, and there was a girl that you liked was watching and thought maybe you can get a date if she saw you doing something so stupid that you will NEVER do again. If he's in a good mood, he will put out a little joke, and say, well did you get a date then?? or something of that nature, right there and then you know you are in good shape. Tally up ALL the points that he can give you. If its just fines, take them, hiring a lawyer most likely won't even get those dropped. A reckless driving ticket will most likely be dropped to a careless driving. IN nj, that is a 5 point to a 2 point ticket. If there are other tickets that involve points ask him if he will merge the tickets into one, meaning you only have to pay for the one ticket with points. The other ones that are just fines, he will make you pay them, you WILL not get those dropped or merged. What you are trying to do is MERGE THE ONES WITH POINTS. If the cop was an ***, which he probably is because he came in, took you out of school, and put you behind bars. He simply could of just wrote you all the tickets, mailed them to your house, and there was no need to arrest you. YOU DO NOT WANT THE COP TO BE IN THE COURT OR LET THE PROSECUTOR TALK TO THE OFFICER. It will only make things worse. A lawyer for this matter will probably be around $500-$800 dollars. PLUS you will still be paying all the fines and the lawyer WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET YOU OUT OF ALL TICKETS.
P.S. How old are you??? i'm guessing this is high school??

Wreckless driving gets you jail time in communist states, not United States. This dude has some outstanding warrants or something. They knew who he was, and they knew where to find him. He didn't get arrested for a wheelie, no way. He got arrested for the warrant that was because unpaid fines or some other crazy stuff.
I'm a citizen of the US, so I consider it "my field" as well.
Depending on the degree of reckless driving in the state of washington and state of oregon can take you straight to jail i can post the WAC for ya if you want. In some areas of cal. they will impound and crush your bike for just a wheelie. my flield is law enforcement thats why i said that
