really is cool to see people's "diaries" on modding their bike because i feel its the same way with me. always tinkering or adding something new.


im glad i saw those tripage pegs...i remember seeing them on a bike awhile back but forgot about them....love the idea of the running light/blinkers....might have to look into that eventually

Well, after waiting and waiting and waiting, my buddy finished the paint this past weekend. Was celebrating the holidays so today was designated bike day. Here's one last in-progress teaser before posting the finished product:



I'm currently waiting to see if a local vendor has my new HID for me to pick up. Once I get that headlight (or realize that I have to wait), I'll finish installing the upper panel, and everything else falls into place from there. Also when I tried starting it after a fresh tank of gas, the battery didn't quite have enough juice to get her going, so it's on the trickle charger today. Tomorrow will yield the finished product (FINALLY), and after a few tweaks and twists, will be out on the town.

Gee, a few days outside of June and The April Project is finally done. Hah.

Well after the April project almost spilled into June, she's finally done. I'll let the photos do the talking this time.

 

 

lookin good Aken! you gonna throw any graphics on there? also, an artfibras or pimpbike undertail would really tidy up the rear....

 

No big graphics planned at the moment. I might play around with some black and gold pinstriping that I have, maybe a couple decals that say Aken in a cool font. I dunno. Just wanna ride it now

And yes, a Pimpbike undertail is in my future. Not sure why I didn't drop the coin on it while I had all this nonsense going, but I want one

 

nice. i think a white f4i with just some black wings like the OEM scheme would look awesome. not sure if its what youre looking for, but ive always thought it would be sweet.
