any extra anywere????

Default any extra anywere????

anybody knows were i can get or has an MAP SENSOR for 02 f4i. im tyring to sell my bike to upgrade to an RR but my fI light is on because of my bad map sensor and i cant seem to find one... at the dealers its like $100 i think dont have those kind of money to spend ............ any help be great thankx

I thought the title of this thread sounded like "any extra underwear." but nah, can't help sorry. []

You might want to make sure that there isn't a bad (torn, split, loose) vac line anywhere on the bike, as even one that has n/thing to do w/the vac sensor will make the rest of the vacuum show low on the sensor. The "code" will say vac low, but the sensors themselves don't go bad all that often. I see a LOT of em getting replaced cuz of a vac problem, not the sensor being bad.

well i had my mechanic check it out for me and he said that when he hooks up his meter to it he is not gettin data that he should accourding to the info from honda
