My local shell does not have ethanol in it, nor does my local enmark. The enmark stopped using 10% a couple of months ago beceause it cost more than straight gas.

This is a LOT if discussion over absolutely NO money.

I mean really - even if you ride 10k miles a year at 40MPG - that is 250 gallons you have burned - at an extra .25/gallon that is 60 bucks a year.....

Who cares....

I run 93.

Not true - certain counties are not required to put Ethanol in their fuel based on the popluation density of the county....

I can't find any stations around here without ethanol blended!! Makes me very sad.

And I use 93. Cleaner burning and peace of mind. I can afford an extra 20 cents per gallon, I didn't buy a bike to save money. I still spend 1/2-1/3 of the money on gas in my bike than if I still drove my Mazda everywhere.

Riding the bike all day for $20 in gas is the best bang for the buck entertainment I can think of on a nice weekend. Everything else costs way more or just isn't as much fun. Cheaper than dinner, movies, boating, skydiving...

Don't look at the pump prices, just approach it knowing you're going to fill the tank with hours of stupid fun.

My apologies if I am wrong.... I swore it was by the county because people around here rave that in Gloucester (a local smaller per-capita county) they don't have it.
