... Its a nationwide law buddy.

The closest thing you can have to be street legal without having a constant headlight is a modulating headlight. And I'm fairly certain that only during the day is the modulating mod legal.

Dont you guys have to take a test to get your license?

Every street motorcycle manufactured during/after 1978 in the US/Canada is required to have a headlight. If you want to test your PD and ride without one then thats your decision. It's there for safety. And its not that much of a safety which is why states have been permitting modulating headlights.

those would technicallly make it street legal, but you'd never be able to ride at night. myself i'd skip the bike and look for something less "racy" and more stock. there are good deals on these eeverywhere right now, especially ssince the season is ending.

edit: i got mine for 3k

Here in BEAUTIFUL Phoenix the riding season is just getting started

...and for my two cents I'd say the bike is borderline street legal in the daytime, but you're in deep doo-doo if you need to ride at night.

#1 Craigslist
#2 Cycle Trader Online
#3 (and its a distant third) Ebay...usually just Harleys there.
