Default Air box removal

Hey everyone, its my first post here but I've been lurking for a while. I have an 01 F4I. I'm looking to change my air filter out. I have the gas tank up... 10 or so screws out of the air box and it still feels like its stuck on there solid, (i've tried prying ect) like there is another bolt holding it in, I was checking out some of the write ups on taking it out and no one mentioned anything about a bigger bolt (12mm or something like that) that looks like it goes through the top of the air box. that looks like the only thing that would be holding it in right now... I dont want to start prying or pulling too hard and break something.

any advice would be helpful
Eric

I just change the filter on mine and had the same issue. Mine had Phillips head screws all the way around and one in the center like your talking about. That should be the last screw holding it on. Hope that helps.

there are some screws all around the box itself. then there is one in the center... that should be all you need to get the top of the box off which has ur air filter in.. if u take the whole box off there are hoses that are connected to it...

Ah ok makes sense then. I knew there was one more holding it in somewhere, for some reason I thought it was a bolt in the middle there not the Phillips head. Thanks again
