Default Aftermarker turn signals - need help quick!

So I am putting my new turn signals on at my dads that finally came in and ran into a problem. They only have 2 wires but the front turn signals have 3 wires. 1 being the running light, I tried putting the turn signal/running light wire together but when I do that, on my cluster the turn signal lights stay on (dont flash). Is there a way to get around this with only 2 wires on my signals or do I need to either not have a running light or have the cluster turn signal lights stay on (They flash when I put the signal on)?

Thanks in advance!

It also makes the back running lights but I guess with aftermarket signals you can't have both front running lights/turn signals with 2 wires right?

I had this exact same problem a few months ago and found my answer on the post that FLYOU just gave you. You can specificaly get it from page 3 where CrF450r420 says:

"You actually only need one diode per side. The parking light wire is back feeding into the blinker system causing the indicator lights and on mine the rear blinkers to stay on. If you put a diode on just the blinker wire and then connect the three (blinker lead, running lead, positive LED lead) lead wires at on point. This allows the running lights to get to the light but, it can't go back up into the blinker system."

This is exactly what i ended up doing. The parking light wire that he is referring to is light blue on the right side and orange on the left side. These are the two wires that run into the gauge cluster and back to the rear lights.

hope this helps, cheers

Thx for all the help, I just wanted to get them on there and done with to start riding, so no running lights currently, I might go back later and do what was suggested but its fine with me the way it is.

They aren't flush mounts though, they're some that I ordered from d2moto.com
