Default Advice on Issue?

So the other day I decided I'd try and do fix the CCTL with the new I had purchased, Well after about 5 hours and still no luck I decided I'd take it to my mechanic and pay the $60 to have him do it.

While I was trying to do the CCTL I pulled off my airbox and disconnected alot of hoses, I then put it back together before I called it a night and road it around the block, everything was fine so I went to bed. The next morning I road to the shop had him install it and road around the rest of the day, that night I left my bike outside and it was pretty cold that night (around 45) and when i woke up to go to work I turned my bike on it idled really low for about 10 seconds then cranked up, then flashed 2 FI lights. So I look up what the mean later in the day and find that it could be a loose hose or bad map sensor, so I'm thinking maybe a hose was loose and that could be causing this. So I leave work that night and start my bike up to find that I don't have the code again so I shut it off and turn it back on still no code, I leave it in the garage that night same temp outside and repeat the routine the next morning. It turns on fine no lights so I'm thinking now that it's no problem just maybe a glitch. Long story short, whenever I leave my bike outside (so far) or if it's really cold that night the next morning or later that day I get the problem. I don't know what the issue could be and to top it off I've been getting about 20-30 mpg less since this happened.

My bike is a cali bike with the EVAP still on the bike and I have an o2 eliminator, could either of those be the problem? Advice would be awesome and sorry for the wall of text!

Thanks!

just a heads up, there is 5 hoses that connect to the airbox and 2 plugs, that does not include the 2 air snorkels, there is a small hose that plugs into the bottom of the map sensor.
are you sure the shop plugged that one back in? i think you can see it from the left side without pulling the tank off.

^ What Rudy said.

Then, remove all that CA emissions stuff. ;-) There's a tutorial buried in the F4i section somewhere.

I've looked for a guide on how to remove the cali stuff I couldn't find it.

And I will look at the hoses tonight if I get time.

There was a tutorial somewhere on here. As I recall, some of the pic links were broken but the info was there.
