Not sure if anyone has said this yet but what type of gloves do you wear?
If your hands go numb and thats when it happens it could be the type of material on the gripping part of your glove which is 'sticking' and 'pulling' or 'dragging' the throttle round when you pull the break. JUst a thought.

I don't plan on getting them, mainly as a courtesy to other drivers because the reflectors on my bike were not designed to be used with them. There is a mod I'm considering where I would have both left and right on at low beam, with the normally high beam side at only 40% output. I've seen pics of it and the two sides look very close in brightness. When the high beam is switched on the high beam side goes to full power.
