Default 600RR shock on a F4i

Anyone done it? No, not looking to do the whole swingarm changeover, just looking for a shock with more adjustability/higher stock stiffness. By the eye they look very similar. I need a new one anyway. Any experience?

I heard that racetech has a spring that fits the F4i. AND I've heard of folks getting the stocker revalved. OR you can go with an aftermarket unit.

Hmm, not a bad idea, I think I've seen an Ohlins spring. The aftermarket shocks are pretty pricey, but I guess there's deals to be had, but those usually don't 'spring' up until late spring and summer, after the racers have started crashing and selling their Penske/Ohlins units. I'll see if I can find a RR shock locally; maybe I can fab something up. A total swingarm conversion would be pretty straightforward, butI don't like the RR swingarms on the F4i - total form over function, especially considering the Pro-link weighs more.
