Is a 600 a good bike for a beginner
Hello everyone, I'm a newbiw and I need some advise from more experienced riders. I've been riding a 250r for this season after completing my MSF course. I've enjoyed the 250r, but since I'm 5'10" 260 pounds (former linebacker) I'm starting to feel sorry for the bike and I want to move up to a bigger bike. I've been thinking a katana 600 or a SV650, but I've always liked the cbr600 f3, f4's. I know it's faster than both the other bikes I've mentioned. do you think the leap from a 250r to a cbr600?

yeah i agree with these guys man get rid of the 250r and step up to the big league you will enjoy it much more and wont ever get smoked by some grandma in a old camry. yeah you should be able to handle these more new bikes like a champ seeeing how you do have the experience now. good luck i hope you make the right decision on a bike.

I think you'll be fine bro! I mean most sport bike riders actually start on 600's, and alot of F4i's... I don't think to many of us started on anything smaller! Actually, I had a 1983 Honda Shadow 500 when I was in high school! lol,, trust me, that didn't help! But you'll be fine! Get a corbin seat! TRUST ME!!! Your *** will thank you!
