Must be the map and my set up then. When I commute on it, and it's almost all a twisty canyon road, i put a half gallon less in it after 80 miles if I am hammering the throttle and running "higher" speeds in the straights. My old 929, stock everything with o2 sensor got 40 mpg no matter how I rode. My current 929 gets 30 mpg (a little more if I'm on it) with no o2, full exhaust, and a map. I know it's not an f4i, but the mod differences show a change.

When I got 50mpg I was shifting about 4000 rpm and freeway driving was confined to 80-85max all the time. Now a days I shift where ever and do 100 on the freeway everywhere I go so that's where my mileage went. I'm sure I could drop it into the 20's if I did another track day on it [been years since I have a track only bike]
