Default 2 questions in on...talking bout saving space

While riding i noticed a ticking kind of sound in the front of the bike and a whining type in the rear. Mind you have been riding this bike since sunday only, but are these sounds normal?

Also a side note, is the rear tire supposed to be flat contoured and then curve around to the sidewalls or is it supposed to be basically round from sidewall to side wall?

not sure on the sound. if you have a lot of miles it could be cam chain tensioner. and same with the tire. milage makes a difference but it depends on the type of tire if its new

Sound: Possible CCTL (front). Sounds like a loose/tight chain (rear).
Tires: Normal.

from what i've been reading the CCT isn't a big deal as long as u have lower milage. You can hear mine when i get around 6k rpm but it goes away before and after. I heard you don't have to change it until ur up around 8-11k miles or somethin like that....unless of course the sound is getting rediculous. The chain is incredibly easy to tighten/loosen as long as u have a huge socket wrench around....check the links to the user manuals on these forums if u can't figure it out.

If you're under warranty, report it to your dealer (for the CCT).

The chain is easy. Helps if you have a rear stand, like Handy, Pit Bull, etc. Instructions are in the MOM.
