I was out for a 2 hour ride through the beautiful west TN country side tonight and while i was rideing i was just thinking of why i got a bike and started rideing. so i thought i would share my thoughts in a top 10 list.

1. pure Acceleration.....the power these bikes have is orgasmic
2. The ride it self
3. the sound of the Acceleration is enough to make you fall in love
4. Fun Factor.....these bike make the dreary ride to work in the morning well worth it
5. Cool Factor...cant help but say that bikes in general are just cool as hell(unless you ride a katana...Lol)
6. The community.....
7. self expression.....
8. the feeling.....by this i mean the very first time you started up your own personal bike......good times and smile for days
9. just knowning......just knowing you can do 0-100 in like 2 secs is enough to make you scream for buttermilk....
10. and last but not least is agian the RIDE...wether you are doing 140 with your hair on fire down the freeway or doing 40 down a country at dusk on a summer day....THE RIDE is what is about...

i like it when little kids get excited when you ride by. reminds me of when i was a kid watching them go by dreamin of that day.

 

i remember a friend letting me ride his honda 205 scrambler when i was like 12 and ever since then i had the bug. i remember turning a corner and getting on the gas and because i must have only weight 100 lbs the tires left a little rubber mark, and i remember taking my best friend back at to that spot and showing him. i dreamed about that for weeks.
