Or do you just need the info to brag to the guys hanging out at the local coffee shop.....
Also, Sand paper works wonders on your chicken strips, The coffee shop posers will definitely think you were dragging some knee for sure.

Not yet, but it's coming.
We wouldn't want to encourage anybody to go out and try to go as fast as their bike will take them.
We also won't have this discussion turn into a series of disrespectful posts.

The calculators say.. you will lose 6.667 percent of your current top speed. that means if your bike would do the 157 that most do, with one less tooth you would lose 10.46 mph, rendering a new top speed of 146.6 mph.. but since most of the f4is are drag limited, the revs are available to compensate for this to a point. please read.
I entered the proper gear data for a 2001 cbr 600 f4i on this site.
Motorcycle gear/rpm/speed calculator
As if it really matters, we all know the bikes are good for 150 plus. If you have a stock machine that states it can do 160 mph, it will read just under 13.5k rpm with stock gearing in top gear. That is indicated, while the gps reads only about 157 im guessing wheel spin because the tire was new at the time.. grit on the road.. whatever (280 pound operator) normally easily gets up to 155 - 160 indicated and is drag limited (runs out of enough horsepower to overcome wind resistance) depends on fuel level, weather, wind, and ambient temperature as well as terrain. Flat straight and under 80 degrees f. so....HERE IS YOUR ANSWER FROM SOMEONES EXPERIENCE..., remove one tooth, and you will loose about 7 mph top speed but your speedo will indicate you are actually going faster unless you get a speedo healer or similar product and properly program it. The engine actually makes less horsepower as it is worked above the 12500 rpm peak hp rating. I would guess about 150 - 153 max without any heavy mods. Anything over about 90 will likely get you a few tickets and im sure they will have calibrated machines to let you know. It all depends on how much you want to keep your license. A heavily modified 600 f4i with different cams and much work will push the 170 via gps, a lot of money when you can buy a 1k for less than the price of the modifications .. but really after about 140 or so its slower than a liter bike no matter how you add it up. Fun yes, bragging rights?? Be careful for heavens sake.
