When me and my dad went riding the other night my bike was doing fine until I got into town and started to cruise around town, the bike hit 230 couple times and fan kick in and bring it back down, after 4-5 times of that I noticed that the bike was acting as if the battery was dead on it, it was jerking, spitting, sputtering acting up, no where near as much power... it would do it really bad around 200 Degrees, not sooo bad around 170, The temp would come down just took a min of back roads to bring it down, but I could stop at the stop sign for 2 min and it would already be back up to 185-195 easy... What would be the best thing to start with on figuring out why my bike is doing this?

 

I was thinking coolant also... Ive had this bike since Feb. 2011 so far, and put around 2,500 miles on it, figure since its getting close to time to storing it, might start looking into a tuneup on it, cause I havent done anything but back tire on it, cause I figured out how to do a burn out lol...

 

I put about 2,000 on the bike then the tag died on me, so I let it sit for sometime, and the back tire needed to be changed out, and my dad got his F2 going and lookin better, and now we got it legal again, and another back tire on it, and we put about another 500 miles on it so far... It only does it when it gets hot for a long period of time, we took it on a 40mile trip on way just to kill some time trip to Brushy Mtn. and it done great there and back... but I take it into town it wants to start to act up as if the battery is dead, I forgot I also just changed out the battery it was the original battery says my mechanic lol... so it was well over due for changing... but done we well until now... so I couldnt complain to much about it lol
