03 600 rr fuel tank on 02 600 f4i

I got my girlfriend an 02 f4i. It has a dent in the gas tank. I found a good deal on a 03 600rr tank that is the same color with the same graphics. Would the 03 600rr fit on the 02 f4i properly. Thanks for all responses.

NO, won't fit. You need an F4i tank ('01-06).

Nope. Not even close. The f4i has a metal tank and the RR tank is just a plastic cover.
