Default Fuel tank

Sorry for the crappy picture but that's all I could get. To me it looks like metal shaving in the bottom of the tank or similar to a steel wool pad. Is this normal?

Thank you. Don't remember seeing something like that on previous bikes.

It's common on pumps with a return fuel line. It is NOT going to be on a 1 line system.

When you take the fuel pump module out to change the filter, it's a good idea to give the steel stuff a good cleaning. You would be surprised how much gunk ends up on it and in the area it sits in.
