When you turn it over all it'll do is back fire through the intakes and will not start at all! I've checked timing and it's good. Plugs are good all safety sensors bypassed also helppppppppppppppppp

Are the plug caps on the right plugs and the coils on the right connectors?

Well mine's an F2 rather than an F4i but assuming it's all the same then 1243 with the left coil doing 1&4 and the right coil doing 2&3 but you need to be aware that the connectors from the harness are identical and can be put to the wrong coil.

So it ran fine, and then something happened, and now this - what happened? What did you change?

Also - this motor is in a bike yes, fully connected to everything expected? It's not in a go-kart or something?

Engine is in a complete bike I bought it from somebody that said it needed the clutch pull rod thing that pulls the basket apart to disengage the clutch so bike has been sitting for at least 2 years in a in closed shop

Bike was running until the clutchs went out and they changed them and some how lost the pull thing for the basket but idk how true that is. You know how these things go lol but anyways I'm probably gonna put this other CBR engine i got I know is good on it but its driving me crazy only thing I can think of is valve problem?

Justacbr, have you checked the compression or performed a leak down test? This could tell you if it’s a valve.

Not yet I ended up getting another engine and swapped it got it running great. Sounded good. Went down the road and about a quarter mile in the bottom end started knocking so that engine is trash unless I rebuild the bottom end lol I can't win for loosing with the bike but anyways I'm back to trying to get this original motor to run
