Starter Solenoid shorted, Help ?
First off i have a 1991 CBR600 F2
Trying to diagnosis the no start issue and found the starter solenoid loose and looks like it ground/shorted itself on the frame.
Besides the solenoid itself what else may have been affected from this. Ecm,Regulator Rectifier, Stator or anything else in that electrical path?
Any insite would be appreciated.
I do have a factory service manual but the wiring diagram page leaves a lot to be desired as its so small its really hard to read.
Thanks in advance

Voltage shorted through the solenoid to ground. It gets its signal from a relay that lets big current go to the starter motor. Solenoid maybe fused open, starter maybe affected, starter switchgear on handlebar maybe. Other than that, I don't think other items should've been affected. Hard to tell with electronics. Check out these areas first and fix anything showing signs of burning, melting, etc.
