Default Standard or Metric?

I need to take the ferrings and tank off to do some maintenance. Does the F2 use standard size (american) or metric size allen wrench? Also are most of the bolts standard or metric? Just like to know before I drop 30 bucks for a tool set. (yes i'm a noob, learning as I go. scary and expensive!) Thanks!!

most of the fairing bolts will be 5 and 6 mil. which will take 4 and 5 mil allen wrenches. most of the other bolts on the bike SHOULD be metric, but you'll more than likely find a standard here and there.

Check out sears - For around the $30 you mention, you can pick up a decent little mechanics tool set that should do most of what u need. Add to it when you get to something you need another tool.

although for $10 more this kit adds a lot of sockets and wrenches on top of the 77pc. And a single socket @ sears is going to run $3-6 bucks usually.
