RPM gauge working intermittently
1991 F2

I had to replace gauge cluster on my F2 because the old one was too damaged. Bought a used one and everything was fine for a week and now RPM gauge only works some times. I checked the harness connection and found nothing wrong.
What should be my next trouble shoot step?
