just got finished, it was basically a heli coil and well long story short it worked.

for refference if anyone else whos on a broke *** college budget you can try this but i take no responsibility.

Okay, so first you gotta flip out cus your pissed that you screwed yo bike up again

Then buy a m10 x 1.0 thread repair kit that includes the inserts and the tap that will increase the size of the thread whole to m10 x 1.25

next remove the gas tank and air filter and move the radiator to the side.

Then pull off the valve cover and remove the coils because it allows easier access to the holes.

Pull off the exhaust camshaft and the holder so our ghetto *** tool can fit down the spark plug port.

Then take your tap that will thread your hole a bit bigger and attatch it to your tap tool and crank the heck out of it with vice grips to ensure the tap stays in the tool.

Now were going to coat our tap with wheel bearing grease so all those lil shavings don't drop into my motor and blow it up again.

start slowly threading the tap in 1/2 turn back out a 1/4 then go back in a 1/2 and keep going till your tap spins freeley.

basically its to the point where its spinning and would be hitting the exhaust cam if you would have left it in.

next remove the tap and insert the heli coil or w/e insert you be using, remember to coat that insert with thread sealant

now we are going to slowly turn the coil in with the coil turning tool.

once it seats and you feel like your going to break off the tang stop spinning and insert some needle noses to pull off the tang.

if you get super pissed because its hard to grab break the damn thing off with a screw driver, buy a 99 cent magnet that fits through that lil spark plug hole and retrieve the tang like i did

then this comes the nerve racking part, slowly screw in the new spark plug untill it sits.

Next do the happy dance and feel great about yourself and knowing that you never had to pull the head and buy new gaskets and drop the motor and all that other crap that would have pissed you off in the first place.

Now you can drink that beer.
