Default OMFG Im In Deep Shizz

Soo. my petcock did me nasty. i just eye balled my butterflies even before I went to sync my baby. Went to Fire it up and turn ""CLACK"'. right away I just took a look at the carbs and saw the number 1 (or4) on the left was filllled up. So I drained the bowls. took off the Carbs and BAMM. the nastiest ****in site. The vacuum line on the cylinder sucked a bunch of gass from the tank toppin her off. So my question is. What now. Im pretty sure that petcock is toasted cuz IM pretty sure its not supposed to do that

Is your cylinder full of fuel? Remove your spark plugs and turn the engine over by hand...

Look down the #1 cylinder and look for anything funky.

Here's hoping you didn't bend a rod

Go take a picture of your carburetor clamps for me, then I'll help you LOL..

I need a picture of them so I can see how they are supposed to go on.

well its not that I dont know how the clamps go on. Its the fact that my #1 cylinder is full of gas because the vacuum port connected to the petcock seemed to have sucked a bunch of fuel in there. My question is What do I do about this ? How do I drain it. and How do i see if this caused damage like hydro-lock or petrolock

Where the carbs join to the engine? Two sets of rubber "holders"? Those are the Carb boots. And are you saying that the one on the left when you're facing forward, the #1, is full of fuel?

Should be obvious at this point not to touch the starter button again. If you have a gas siphon you can use that to drain the majority of the gas out of the engine. Then pull the spark plugs and let her sit for a bit, letting evaporation work on it some as well. Not sure if you want to try cranking her with the plugs out to clear the engine seeing as were talking gas here. I defer to the others at this point...
