need clutch help

Default need clutch help

i have a 93 f2 and i cant get the inner clutch basket out it hits the engine casing with the geared piece on the back and im not sure how to get it out any help would be appreciated thanks

According to the manual. you need to align the gear teeth on the basket with two projections that are cast into the case. The projections are in front of the primary gear from the crank. They appear to have small holes or dimples in them. Section 9-6 in the manual.
