Default Mystery noise

Hello all,
I have a mystery noise/vibration coming from the windshield/cluster/side mirror area. It gets much more noticeable when I am in mid range rpm's. I put a piece of rubber between the windshield and cluster. This helped with the noise. But now it sounds like I have another rattle. I think its still in the mirror/windshield area. I know its not a major issue but its very annoying. I just don't know of any other bolt I can tighten or anything else. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Thanks!

My screen creaks aswell, I just need the re-drill or file the mounting holes a lil bigger, that should fix it. But yeah very its annoying lol.

Thanks for the help. I am pretty sure the mirror's and wind screen are to blame. I tightened the bolts. That helped. But not all the way gone. So I wedged a tiny piece of rubber between the screen and gauge cluster. This helped a ton. This will be a fine ghetto fix until I can re-drill the mounting holes. Thanks again for all the great advise!

This is probably the leading cause of crashes among older fairinged bikes. I'm constantly trying to hold my RPM while feeling around the bike with my other hand to find the cause. So annoying.

Once you find it, just tighten it down in a handy dandy way. Like you said, rubber is nice. I used shoe goo and it worked well in one spot.
