Intermitant starting problem
Hi all, hope you can help me. Went out to start bike, turned ignition on, light and dials came on as it should, bike in neutral. Went to push start button and nothing happened. It's done this on rare occasions before and I bump start the bike and it starts first time.
As I was pushing the start button this time I don't know why I did it but I pushed the horn button and then the bike started to crank over and started.
Wondering if you'd come across this before? or any ideas why it started after I pushed the horn button!?
Thanks Tomtom

Not sure if the horn thing is connected or coincidence, but test the wiring from the
starter to the battery/ground. If you have a loose ground or other connection, it can
exhibit intermittent failures.
If that checks out then move on and check the starter-relay, then finally, you might
scope out the starter switch, itself.
