I fixed my fuel problem.
So after I got my bike back together last year it had been running like crap. It would be fine for riding below 30 MPH but above that it would suck. I finally got around to cleaning out my carbs and found two problems. First my slow jet on the number 4 cylinder was completely clogged. I soaked the jet in some mystery solution my father had for 30 min and was rewarded with a clean and clear slow jet. I reassembled the carbs and put them back on the bike. While riding the bike preformed at a level I had only dreamed of! After a couple quick bursts of speed the bike began to sputter and then ran like it was barely getting fuel. I got her home and let her sit for about 5 min. After restarting the bike she ran just as we'll as it did at first. So with some handy work with some fuel line, I replaced all of the old stuff. It looked like a kink had developed on the right side of the carbs. The bike has been running great for the past couple of days now!
Of everything I have done to my F2 the most rewarding has been this. Although pulling the motor, changing the head a d re doing the valve lash was up there. My next big project is going to be syncing the carbs. I really want to swap the front forks for some from a 94 or the internals from an F3 but that's not a huge priority as I don't race the bike.
