Here is mine. I see no difference on what me and you have maybe I am blinded. Mine is 1 down 5 up just like normal

 

Alright, he would appear right. I can't see the difference either!

 

My shift lever defaults to GP sihft as well, but I suspect it was an aftermarket change made, somehow, since I also have racing engine covers and stuff. My linkage is at the bottom like it should be and my bike is GP shift...
