Default Finally found out my stuttering problem!!!

so i have a 94 f2 and only paid 500 for it. got it running and it had a hesitation around 4 or 5k and sometimes it would run like crap after thrashing it a little. took it apart and noticed the intake didnt line up with the carbs right. the front bolt holes didnt line up at all and only a few of the bottom ones bolted to the carbs. i have a k&n and a full vance and hines ss2r. the carbs had stock f2 jets so i bought a stage 1 jet kit and it ran a lil better but i couldnt quite ge it dialed in. very long story short.. the guy had f3 carbs on it. they are 2mm bigger and for some reason he had f2 jets in them! now i have a set of f3 carbs layin around till i find a f3!

Glad to hear you got it all sorted out - I'm guessing you have put on a set of F2 carbs and all is well?

!I'm hoping! I ordered a set off ebay a couple weeks ago and everything bolted up nicely. Huge difference in the carbs. Unfortunatly its been 17 degrees out so haven't been able to try it out yet
