F2 carb sync
Hi guys, i have the the tool for the job, the 4 vac gauges and i know where to connect the hoses but i am struggling to find the adjustment screws between the carbs and do i leave the air filter on? Thanks guys
The airbox can be on or off. I think it is WAY easier with it off.
As long as you are getting an accurate idle (~1700 rpms) the airbox won't have a detrimental effect on the amount of vacuum being pulled through each cylinder. Just remember, cylinder number 2 is your base reading. Balance 1,3, and 4 around cylinder 2's readings. Good luck.

cheers antatious. would have gone for 1 as the base, thanks for setting me straight on that one. was running it without the rubber cowl that sits behind the rad and over the top of the head, would this have caused problems during running?
