Default F2 carb sync

Hi guys, i have the the tool for the job, the 4 vac gauges and i know where to connect the hoses but i am struggling to find the adjustment screws between the carbs and do i leave the air filter on? Thanks guys

Remove the entire airbox, then you will see them

Yeah,ALL 16 of 'em. I hate removing the airbox.

^^^X2^^^ especialy when you forgot the carb gaskets or to connect the choke cable.

You can do it with the airbox on no problem. You just gotta jam your arms in there good. I'm by no means a small dude and I pulled it off

Thanks for the replys, so there are 3 adjustment screws? 1 between each carb? do i leave the air box and filter on when i am sync,ng the carbs?

The airbox can be on or off. I think it is WAY easier with it off.

As long as you are getting an accurate idle (~1700 rpms) the airbox won't have a detrimental effect on the amount of vacuum being pulled through each cylinder. Just remember, cylinder number 2 is your base reading. Balance 1,3, and 4 around cylinder 2's readings. Good luck.

cheers antatious. would have gone for 1 as the base, thanks for setting me straight on that one. was running it without the rubber cowl that sits behind the rad and over the top of the head, would this have caused problems during running?
