Crash tested extended frame sliders. Worth every damn penny!
Those woodcraft ones do look nice. What they say concerning extended surface area seems intersting to me as well. They say it's good for extended puck life, but to me it would seem best for distribution of force. Anyways, woodcraft gets a lot of good reviews on other forums. I'd get them!
... how the heck could you possibly install these frame sliders without drilling through your plastics? I could see it on a street fighter or a rat bike, but yeah definitely not on the stock full fairing'd bike... or are you discuss the F4i now?
. Thats why all the major brands are 2pc. SO this comes down to the aged old saying, you get what you pay for
Mine is a single piece... and as you can see it didn't snap right off, it worked great and did it's job.
Also, the bolts really are the incorrect size on these extended frame sliders. They're meant for the F3, and the bolts therefore are too short for the F2.
The stock size frame sliders don't stick far enough out to clear the plastic, so they aren't really all that extended.
