Default Chain replacement

I'm sorry if this has already been covered somewhere ; I did a search but didn't find exactly what I'm looking for.

When inspecting the chain, what is the service limit in deflection before it should be replaced? I don't know how many miles the chain on my new F2 has, so I want to check it.

Well the deflection will be in spec as you move the adjuster further and further out. When you reach the "replace" line on the swingarm, its about time to change. Also inspect the teeth and see if they're "hooked".

Gotcha. Thanks for the info, I'll check it. Rode the bike to work this morning, I love the way it feels!
