Default Big bore?

does anyone know anything about the big bore kit is it worth the money to do it or should i just oem rebuild it? its a 91 600 f2 with a little over 20,000 miles on it

Is there anything wrong with it? 20k is nothing for these motors if well kept.

The motor blew lol i just got back form a ride that was over 1,000 miles and a day later it poops on me so now im looking at what i could do

BTW--exactly what "big bore kit" are we talking about, anyway?

Wiesco makes a 1.0mm and 2.0mm over-bore piston set that brings it up to 618 and 637cc respectively. The 1.0mm leaves compression stock, but the 2.0mm brings it to 13:1. You'll probably need premium or higher at 13:1 and I'm not sure 618cc is worth it...

What's the cost and time investment in the end?

In other news, if some one doesn't buy my F2 as a project/track bike, I'm pulling the motor and selling it. It's dyno tuned and working like butter

Exactly,you'll have at least 2grand in it when said and done. I would buy another stock engine and put your $$ in the suspension.
