Cool !991 F2 Fork Swap- Keeping OEM Speedo

Hello everyone,

I just came upon a 1991 cbr600 F2 and I have spent the past few days researching all the possibilities. The bike needs a heavy restoration and I was considering doing a fork swap. I found a company that makes custom steering stem and upper triples for that particular swap (GSXR 600/750/1000 for a cbr F2). the post 2013 gsxr600 forks can be had on ebay all day long for good prices (with the nice brembo brakes).

My question is- how could I keep my stock speedo working. I don't want to swap speedo's I really like the old school analogue speedo with no screen. It just gives it that 90's vibe.

I found this which seems to use GPS to actuate the Speedometer but its made for cars. Does anyone know the size of the speedo cable ends. Would this be a possibility? https://speedhut.com/supershops/spee...eed-converter/ .

Would it also be possible to get some sort of custom spacer or have something fabricated to allow the speedo cable to work with the GSXR wheel? I'm assuming I would have to get rid of the stock wheel when I do the swap.

Thanks in advance,
