Default 94 f2 been sitting for a few years

Hello all, got a good deal on an f2 but it's been sitting for awhile. Already plan on doing the usual carb cleaning as well as new plugs and such. The choke and throttle feel real stiff though, is there any way to lubricate the cables or should I just replace them?

Yes, you can lube throttle cables. They make throttle lube spray and there is a special tool that helps get the spray into the tube.
Since you have to take the carbs off for cleaning away, it will make the job easier.

You could also replace the cable too. Probably a bit more $$, but at this point the originals may have some wear.
Depends on the mileage and use on the bike.

Found out it wasnt the cables, was the mechanism on the carbs. Got them off and they move smooth as silk now
