i know this is common on these bikes but i heard that other than replaces the second gears u can put a spring in the trani somewhere that helps it stay in gear. i havent found anything online about this so i figured id ask. the bike supposedly only has 13000 miles on it at least thats waht the odometer reads but yeah ive been just skipping second cuz it pops out easy. any help would be great!

 

I actually noticed mine does this from time to time. Never read about how its common. I just figured I dont throw it in hard enough. but then again. it never does its when Im downshifting from 3nd to 2nd does yours ??

 

mine pops out of second no matter what... if i put it in second and gas it it will eventually pop out. its not too bad when its cold though. if i put it in second and just ride around at 2-3 thousand rpm or any rpm for that matter eventually it will pop out.

 

so if your in 3rd. and you slow down and down shift into 2nd. It will fall out of 2nd and just go to nuetral or first

 

no itll go into second but if i stay in second for too long it will eventually go in neutral it never goes into first just neutral. if i down shift into second and dont hit the throttle i dont think itll go into nuetral just if i try to ride in second. ive tried shifting hard and accelerating it doesnt stay in what so ever. if i hammer it it goes in neutral so i just skip it....
