Making the Bike faster for the Drags

not hating or anything, but only 118mph in a 1/4??? i ran 108mph in a 1/8.. but i do have a question. i have raced cars with manual trannys all my life, and speed shifting greatly helps the e.t. and i was playing with my bike to day and noticed i could "speed shift" it fairly easily even at higher rpms my question is will this hurt the tranny of my 954 if no gears are grinding?
