Default Would you get a newer/faster bike if you could?

The F4i forum on here is the most popular one and I'm sort of curious why that is. I love my F4i, SHE is my baby, but there's plenty of other bikes that I like too. This weekend I got to sit on someones 2007 CBR 1000rr, and it was the first time I had seen one in person. It looked better than I expected and seemed lighter than my F4i when I rocked it around. This wasn't even the newest, lightest fire-blade. The seating also seemed comfortable. I won't lie, it made me think about parting with my BELOVED Mjölnir. So why do you guys stay with your F4is? Is it the comfort? The versatility? reliability? Just curious! Don't kill me plzzz!

Still turns heads, incredibly reliable, and is fast enough for me. Why spend big money for minor improvements?

I like the F4i because its better then everything else for a street bike. Would I get a newer/faster bike? Of course, and then I'd turn it into a track bike. Oh wait, I already did
I'll eventually have an aprillia RSV4 but I won't be getting rid of the f4i ever.

That's kind of what I think. But if someone offered me a trade before I could outright buy a fireblade I don't know if I could resist. Look at the 12-14 models, the 08-11 are so ugly, I will never understand why Honda did that to us.

I thoroughly enjoy owning and riding my F4i. It has the right combination of balance and power. Plus, it is a gorgeous bike! It always turns heads; even the heads of the students that are at my school (behavior unit/campus). It especially turns heads now that I've done some improvements over this summer. I cannot wait to hear what the thugs, knuckleheads, and weirdos think of it. THEY MY PEOPLE!

That being said, I'd love to own additional bikes: Hyabusa and an Augusta (prolly in the F series). But, I would never give up my F4i.

My best friend just sold his. Offered it to me first considerably less than he sold it for. Would have only cost me about $2000 after I sold mine. While it hurt to watch it go I just like mine too much (and don't ride enough to justify spending more $$ on a bike).
Bike he sold - 2008 ninja 1000R. 158hp at the wheel and so much fun to ride.

I ride mine like crazy. It's a 2002 that I bought it in January with 22,000 miles on it and now it has about 29,000 miles. I'm almost doing in six months what the previous owners did in six years. I'm sort of proud of that. I feel like I love the bike more than they did. It was basically stock when I got it too, and I did a lot of mods, but that's because I like it so much not because I didn't like it. What did you guys think of that bike I posted? To me that's a dream bike.
